Well, the good news with these is that they weren't a total disaster, and my 2-year-old even ate an entire roll.  I can't tell you how many I ate.  It would just look bad.  Ok, I ate about 4......out of 12.  That doesn't sound so bad now when I think about how many there were to begin with.  Anyway, bad news...they weren't as good as I thought they would be.  Although they were edible and we ate all of them, there wasn't that WOW or OMG I can't wait to make them again factor.  The first batch was the worst because I didn't dice the strawberries and I used plain cream cheese as the paste agent.  The second batch (shown here) were much better.  The strawberry cream cheese made a big difference!  Also, I wasn't a big fan of the pre-packaged crescent rolls.  I plan on making the dough myself next time.  The best part about this recipe though...was watching my 2-year-old having fun helping me make them.  That's one of the best things about this recipe.  It's fun and safe for young children.
