Homemade Meals With Simple Ingredients.
Hello! My name is Stephanie and I am your Hostess.
I come from a traditional Mexican family so there are a lot of us, and let's just say that my cooking is way better than my Spanish (I was born and raised in California). What really stuck to me like glue though, was the food of my culture. I LOVE MY MEXICAN FOOD. It is my soul food and the reason I love to cook up a good meal.
Hope you enjoy the recipes here!

The Salsa Challenge I have finally come to terms with a truth I haven't been able to accept until now. My inability to make a decent salsa dip. In order to redeem myself and my repertoire of cooking skills, I've decided to challenge myself. The deadline: first day of summer :) Just in time for barbeque season. Featured Salsa: Pico de gallo with nopales. |
A few tips from a curious cookI am not a Chef, just a foodie at heart. The recipes and tips you will find on my site are simple, easy on the wallet, and created (or recreated) in my kitchen with one truth in mind: eating at home = saving money. That's it! I'm always looking out for tips that will save me money and make my life easier in the kitchen, and when I do I'd like to share them with you.
